Specialist SEND Home-to-School Transport
We provide dedicated transport for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, helping ensure journeys are calm, safe and suitable for the children and young people travelling with us.
We understand that transport is not only about attendance. It is also about wellbeing, routine, safeguarding and access to education.
Our service is designed to give confidence to families, schools and commissioning partners alike, with strong attention to reliability, professionalism and passenger experience.
Passenger Support
Our passenger assistants help children and young people travel safely and confidently, offering calm and appropriate support throughout the journey where needed.
This is a role that requires patience, professionalism and good judgement, which is why we place strong emphasis on recruitment, vetting and role-specific training.
Safeguarding and Vetting
Safeguarding is central to the way we operate. We undertake appropriate checks for those working with children and vulnerable adults, including drivers and passenger assistants, and we support this through training, supervision and clear standards of conduct.
For us, safeguarding is not there to look nice on a web page. It has to show up in recruitment, training, supervision, escalation and the day-to-day culture of the business.
Learning and Development
Green Destinations provides the nationally accredited Passenger Assistance Training Scheme. Our approach to training is practical and service-led.
It helps teams understand different types of disability, recognise and respond appropriately to passenger needs, communicate effectively, and work safely within healthcare and emergency procedures.
