Safeguarding
Recognising concerns, maintaining boundaries and reporting issues promptly.
Training & development
Our training approach focuses on the situations staff face in real SEND transport: safeguarding, passenger care, safe driving, communication, handovers, emergencies and knowing when to escalate.

Driver development
Driver preparation covers vehicle readiness, passenger awareness, professional conduct and the practical demands of transporting children and vulnerable passengers. Where relevant, our approach is aligned with recognised MiDAS principles and contract requirements.

Passenger assistant development
Passenger assistants are prepared for safe boarding, reassurance, communication, handovers, professional boundaries and emergency awareness. Where relevant, training reflects recognised PATS principles and the specific requirements of the service.
Training focus
Certificates matter where required, but competence is demonstrated through behaviour: calm communication, safe decisions, appropriate boundaries and timely escalation.
Recognising concerns, maintaining boundaries and reporting issues promptly.
Dignity, reassurance, communication and safe practical assistance.
Understanding route instructions, passenger information, handovers and operational contacts.
Knowing what to do during illness, accident, breakdown, refusal to travel or other unexpected events.

Route-specific instructions turn general training into practical service readiness.

Staff learn to support passengers respectfully while remaining within professional boundaries.

Training is reinforced through vehicle checks, conduct expectations and operational support.
